On 28 September 2005, about 120 individuals turned up at a squatted church in Tufnell Park, North London. A few had met before but the vast majority had not. Among the concerned gathering were old-style left wing activists, anarchists, right wingers, liberals, New Agers, journalists, the owner of the Blackpool Dr Who Experience, an ex-oil executive and even an ex-MI5 officer. Although their backgrounds were very different and they had heard the news about 9/11 through a variety of routes, they were united in their determination to expose the lie of false-flag terrorism. They set up the UK 9/11 Truth Movement, a loose network of activists, covering large areas of the country (although not in great depth) from Kirkcaldy (Fife, Scotland) to Kirby Lonsdale (Lancashire) to Totnes (South Devon). Without much financial support they set out to ensure there was a full, open and independent enquiry into the attacks and the emerging new evidence. Respectfully they lobbied parliament and individual MPs but no one would listen. Respectfully they tried to get the media interested but the fat cat editors turned instead on the activists themselves, who were clearly ‘delusional’ and ‘paranoid’ to believe that shadowy elements were behind 9/11. Respectfully they tried to persuade Stop the War and high profile left-wing activists like Mark Thomas and Rob Newman to take up the baton but they simply refused to even meet any of the Truthers -- even though it was the easiest way to expose the injustice of the war in the Middle East. The methods usedAs time progressed, groups began to spring up all around the country following the success of the original local groups. The method used was simple. Book a small hall, room in a pub or community centre, advertise the event through local media then wait to see who bit. We often packed out back rooms in pubs, once getting 250 people at a small event in Liverpool. We got pieces about 9/11 in local media, like the Derby Telegraph, on the back of the talks. From the initial local interest, a new group of activists would spring up, in turn inspiring those in neighbouring towns. In the meantime, more absolutely convincing evidence emerged to prove that 9/11 was carried out by elements of the US government not loyal to the Constitution. At the same time, our research has established that the 9/11 Commission Failed to gather any reliable evidence to support its case Failed to take possession of or examine key objectively key forensic evidence contradicting its findings Failed to investigate the ‘surprise’ collapse of the 47-storey WTC 7 at 5:20pm that afternoon, Failed to call or hear witnesses to explosions in the Twin Towers - Failed to take individual evidence from or independently cross-examine the President and the Vice-President. When they did deign to pay the Commission a visit, they did not give evidence under oath and no transcript of their cross-examination has ever been released. As a result of 9/11 Truth bringing this information to a wider audience, public attitudes to the attack changed, from you-can’t-say-that-I’ll-knock-your block-off to that-rings-true-to-me-now-we-know-the-real-agenda-in-Iraq. One year onThe 5th anniversary of the attacks in 2006 marked some major breakthroughs for 9/11 Truth, made on the basis of a year’s solid campaigning. We organised our own demo of 200 people outside the US Embassy and the BBC; put on an event at the Conway Hall, featuring US 9/11 researcher David Ray Griffin and got him and David Shayler on the BBC’s Heaven and Earth programme to demolish proponents of the official story, like Peter Hitchins of the Mail on Sunday. Although on air Hitchens offered to look at the evidence, he has since refused every offer for us to give him a briefing – like just about every other editor and journalist on Fleet Street. When the broadsheets took a look at 9/11, veteran campaigner George Monbiot of the Guardian – who has made a career out of the myth of man-made global warming – attacked the wild ‘conspiracy theories’ and the wild conspiracy activists but did not look at the lack of basis or irresolvable inconsistencies of the official ‘evidence’. The on-line version of the article attracted probably more responses than any other mainstream newspaper articles in the age of the World Wide Web. 777 people responded and at least eight out of ten were in agreement with 9/11 Truthers and questioned the official story. Mainstream editors are still too scared to cover the issue in depth, even though they connive in the slaughter of 3,000 innocent people, by refusing to expose it and prevent the same thing happening again. While many almost expect the intelligence services to carry out nasty, dirty operations, they also expect their media to inform them of attacks on their liberties. When this all comes out, newspaper editors will have to hang their heads in shame at their failure to respond to such a clear threat to humanity. The Way ForwardFor the past three years, unpaid activists have handed out leaflets at demos – often being verbally attacked and physically intimidated by left-wingers and anarchists –written countless letters to MPs and media outlets, made and distributed documentaries and video statements calling for an enquiry into 7/7; showing up the BBC’s complicity in the cover-up; and highlighting other clear truth issues, like the chemtrails in the sky and the suppression of free energy. Although the 9/11 and 7/7 Truth movements managed to put an end to false-flag operations in the West, the crooks remain in charge -- or in the case of Tony Blair – in positions of world influence, as a result of not questioning the official story. Despite this, we have an opportunity to now expose this evil once and for all, because 9/11, 7/7 and other false-flag operations are so easy to expose. No one who has been convinced by the evidence of subterfuge has ever gone back to believing the official story. If you do not believe that we can expose the truth about 9/11 and 7/7 in the society we live, in the age of the Internet, then you have surrendered to tyranny. But if you feel compelled to act. Then do it now. Before it’s too late. |
